Bio:

Dr Anita Devi dr. h.c. is known for developing Leaders of Learning. Her contribution to education spans four decades plus, with teaching experience in early years through to post grad around the world.

She is the Founder and CEO of #TeamADL Anita’s awards list includes Excellence in Education Award (2011) Influential Educational Leaders Award (2017) and National MAT Give Back Award (2023).

She has authored several original publications – SEND: Early Career Teachers (2021), Journey to the Heart of SENCO Wellbeing (2022), 7 Dimensions of Highly Effective SENCOs (2024), Neuroplasticity and Neurodiversity in the Classroom (2025) and contributed to other publications.

Anita’s PhD (2022) focused on the leadership on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in schools and Anita was also awarded an Honorary Doctorate in 2025 by The University of Buckingham.

In her own time, Anita is a trained Chaplain at the local hospital supporting families on the Children’s Ward and patients in surgery.

As the author of the foreword for the GEC Inclusion Index 3, Anita offers powerful strategic insight into the realities of race equity and systemic change in education. Through her focused programmes and evidence-informed approach, she supports schools and trusts to move from awareness to accountability.
