COSPI Roundtable on Digital Safeguarding in Schools: future opportunities and challenges

We will be looking at four key areas to unpack the potential, practicalities and policy relevance of moving towards the social media ban for under 16s in the UK and the role of schools and educators:
Adoption: What are the challenges and key barriers to adoption of a social media ban for under 16s?
Trust: What are the core challenges and opportunities of a social media ban for schools?
Regulations & Standards: What are the challenges and key barriers for schools in implementing and regulating a social media ban?
Policy: What are the next steps needed for defining, advancing and implementing policy to achieve a meaningful social media ban?
