GEC Circle Member Event: Turning The Tide: How Education Can Resist Racism And Hate

Join us online on SEPTEMBER  24th - 4:00–5:30pm for Turning the Tide : How Education Can Resist Racism and Hate.

This free online event brings together educators and leading organisations working to challenge the Far Right. In a climate where extremist ideas are increasingly finding their way into our communities and classrooms, teachers need to feel informed, confident, and supported to safeguard all students from the impact of these ideologies.

Featuring presentations from MaslahaSchools of SanctuaryThoughtful and hosted by Project FREE the event will showcase the vital work of organisations on the front line of this challenge.

We will be sharing Maslaha's new toolkit, The Far-Right is Hurting our Students and our Classrooms'.

This is a practical resource designed to help educators recognise, understand, and respond to far-right narratives with clarity and confidence.

Please sign up to attend the event and share with your colleagues in the educational spheres.

This event is NOT limited to educators working in schools, colleges or universities, rather it is suitable for anyone involved in the nurturing and safeguarding of children or young people.
