La Haine (15+)
After a young Arabic boy is arrested and beaten unconscious by police, a riot erupts in the notoriously violent suburbs outside of Paris. Three of the victim’s friends try to come to terms with what happened but things take a dark turn when one of them finds a police officer’s discarded weapon.
