Businessman Oskar Schindler (Liam Neeson) arrives in Krakow in 1939, looking make money from World War II. He joins the Nazi Party and staffs his factory with Jewish workers, both for pragmatic reasons. When the SS begins its campaign against Jewish people, Schindler initially protects them to protect his business interests but soon comes to realise his saving innocent lives is far more important.
