Building belonging for littles and bigs

GEC KnowHow is a free, global learning space for littles and bigs, from early years onwards — because inclusion is learned, practised and strengthened over time.

We quality-assure and curate inclusive stories, books, films, articles and tools that help people of all ages build language for belonging, challenge stereotypes, and grow understanding of difference and lived experience. We also proudly showcase work from our GEC Circle authors, so keep an eye out for familiar and inspiring voices throughout the collection.

Alongside the wider KnowHow collection, we offer quality-assured Primary and Secondary school library lists in our ‘GEC KnowHow Bookshop,’ supporting schools to build inclusive, representative reading environments with confidence.

Created for families, educators and communities, GEC KnowHow supports age-appropriate learning that grows with you — from first conversations to deeper reflection and action.

Inclusion starts early. Learning never stops.
