Alice Gregson

Member of the GEC Circle of Influence

Bio:

As a former CEO of a national membership organisation for trust leaders and a senior leader of 20+ years across several sectors (including education, policing, adult social care, the civil service and the private sector), I combine deep, direct knowledge and experience of leadership at all levels within a diverse range of contexts with my core values of integrity, collaboration and fairness.

My work is rooted firmly in the belief that when leaders perform and just as importantly, feel at their best, the impact of their influence creates a ripple effect throughout an organisation, locality, sector and system, enabling others around them to perform and feel at their best too.

Specific areas of interest and expertise include people strategy, system leadership, cross-sector collaboration and leadership development. Diversity, equality, inclusion and belonging have always been and continue to be, areas of keen interest.

“Since I first heard about the important work of the GEC many years ago, I have offered my unwavering support for good reason. This is not easy or quick work but it is work that truly matters in the world and the GEC team are offering support to the education sector in a meaningful and tangible way. I am honoured to be able to play a tiny part in supporting this work and being part of a collective that stands for something important in this world. We need this more now than ever before.”
