The New Ofsted Framework Through an Inclusion Lens

The New Ofsted Framework Through an Inclusion Lens

Achieve • Belong • Thrive: How school leaders can evidence inclusion under Ofsted’s renewed inspection framework.

Event Description:

Ofsted’s renewed inspection framework (published September 2025) places inclusion at the heart of inspection. For the first time, inclusion is a formal grading criterion, judged through the lens of Achieve, Belong, and Thrive (ABT).

This webinar will help leaders, governors, and practitioners understand what’s changed, what Ofsted will be looking for, and how to prepare now. We’ll also explore how schools can address the Intersectional Data Gap—ensuring no group of pupils is left invisible in the data.

Led by Dr Nicole Ponsford (Founder & CEO of the Global Equality Collective and doctoral researcher at Bournemouth University), this session combines Ofsted’s expectations with practical leadership tools and insights from the 26,000 Voices dataset.
