Hank Zipzer: Niagara Falls, Or Does It?
Niagara Falls or Does It? tells the humorous story of dyslexic protagonist Hank Zipzer’s disastrous class project. This is the first instalment of the Hank Zipzer series, a fun, heartwarming, and hilarious series of books for children which teaches them that dyslexia does not have to be an impediment. Instead, it can enable children to come up with all manner of creative solutions to problems and out-of-the-box thinking as Hank shows repeatedly throughout the series. This book series was partly inspired by the experiences of actor Henry Winkler (whose name adults might recognise from such shows as Happy Days, Arrested Development, or Barry) who struggled with undiagnosed dyslexia throughout his childhood and teenage years. Alongside renowned children’s author Lin Oliver, Winkler created a funny yet heartfelt series which celebrates the original thinking that can come with dyslexia.
