A Kids Book about Dyslexia

This is a kids’ book about dyslexia – a neurodiverse experience that can affect how people read, write and spell. Within this, it’s vital that we talk about the importance of creating a learning experience that works for those who have a dyslexia diagnosis, ensuring they thrive alongside their peers.

This book helps young kids aged 5-9 understand what dyslexia is and how it works. The author draws upon some of her own experiences with dyslexia to teach kids how to advocate for themselves, how to deal with dyslexia, and how to harness their proclivity for creative thinking. This book uses a dyslexia-friendly writing style, a friendly tone, and accessible language to introduce kids to the concept of dyslexia.
