Harroop Kaur Sandhu

Member of the GEC Circle of Influence

Bio:

Harroop Kaur Sandhu works with leaders to strengthen equity, diversity and inclusion by improving judgement under pressure and the systems that shape day to day decisions. She brings over 20 years’ experience in education as a teacher and senior leader and is an EMCC-accredited coach and an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Fellow with the Institute for Equity, University Centre.

Her work focuses on moments where pressure rises, decisions are contested and system patterns quietly reassert themselves. She supports leaders to clarify authority, responsibility and decision making so leadership conditions protect trust, belonging and equity over time. This work was recognised by Ofsted in her most recent school leadership role.

As a member of the Global Equality Collective Circle of Influence, Harroop contributes practical insight and thought leadership that help organisations move from policy intent to consistent leadership practice.

“Inclusive leadership is tested when pressure rises. How leaders judge, decide and act in those moments determines whether equity holds”
