Rebekah Fant-Male

Member of the GEC Circle of Influence

Bio:

Rebekah (Laine Education) helps founders of education companies build trust with school professionals through clear, coherent communications.

Her work includes refining positioning and building messaging for both internationalising companies and early-growth stage founders; equipping teams to move beyond founder-led sales, and translating research findings into marketing copy with integrity.

A former teacher and curriculum leader now based in Finland, Rebekah's work spans UK, EU, UAE school systems and beyond. She draws on marketing, sales and account management experience in international edtech and an MA in Education, Policy and Society from King's College London.

Rebekah runs the EdTech Trust Builders newsletter on Substack where she writes on messaging, product positioning and cultivating an evidence-led approach. She has published policy research on Guernsey's education reforms and implications of digitalised assessment and data dashboards.

“The GEC Platform itself is an excellent example of research-based edtech. Through the Circle of Influence, I'm looking forward to connecting with more founders building inclusive, accessible, evidence-led resources for schools.”

GEC Circle Contributions: Strengthening the GEC Framework:

Rebekah brings expertise in trust-building, evidence-informed communications and EdTech positioning to the GEC Circle through Laine Education. A former teacher and curriculum leader now based in Finland, her work supports education organisations to communicate with greater clarity, integrity and impact across UK, EU and UAE contexts. Drawing on experience across marketing, sales and international EdTech, alongside an MA in Education, Policy and Society from King's College London, Rebekah helps bridge the gap between research, product and practice. She has also explored the GEC Platform as a case study in dashboard disruption and more human-centred approaches to education data design. As a mentor supporting the EdTech Access SEND Tech challenge — where the GEC serves as research partner — she brings valuable insight into how innovation, messaging and evidence can work together to create more trusted and inclusive solutions.
